Create and Manage Sponsorships

With Community Donate, you can create and manage an unlimited number of custom sponsorships for individuals. You’ll have the ability to determine the duration of the sponsorship, the price of the sponsorship, and what benefits sponsors will receive from the sponsorship within the community.

Automate Purchase & Renewal of Sponsorships

Community Donate makes it easy for you to manage your sponsorship offerings. The purchase and renewal of sponsorships can all be handled by the individual or entity wanting to sponsor your organization. Once you have setup your sponsorships, your web site users can purchase, renew, and even upgrade their sponsorships on their own.

Provide Recognition for Sponsors

With Community Donate, automatic email notices are a part of the package. This feature allows you to have automatic and continuous communication with your sponsors throughout the life of their sponsorship. You can use these messages to request feedback, send sponsorship renewal reminders, and to encourage sponsorship upgrades.

Notify Customers Prior to Sponsorship Renewal Date

When you create a sponsorship you’ll have the option to turn on a friendly reminder to notify sponsors when it’s time to renew their sponsorship. You’ll also be able to specify the number of days prior to the expiration of their current sponsorship that the renewal reminder should start being displayed. The renewal reminder is a bar that appears at the top of the screen. This information bar informs the sponsor that it is almost time to renew the sponsorship. It also provides a renewal button which makes it extremely easy for them to renew their sponsorship. This is just another example of how Community Donate makes running a sponsor dependant organization easier to manage - for both you and your sponsors!

Using Contracts with Sponsorships

With Community Donate you have the option to assign contracts to sponsorships. Contracts are a great way to define the benefits that a sponsor will receive with the purchase of a sponsorship. You can also use contracts to clarify how sponsorship money will be spent by your organization.

Notify Customers When You Update a Sponsorship

If you decide to update a contract associated with a sponsorship, you’ll have the option to force a contract update for sponsors who have already purchased the sponsorship. When you force a contract update, sponsors who have already purchased the sponsorship will be prompted to accept the terms of the new contract before they are permitted to gain access to the community on their next visit.

Create Private Sponsorships (Requires Community Promote Add-On)

Create private sponsorships not made available to the general public. These sponsorships are used in conjunction with the Community Promote Add-On to provide private sponsorship options to particular customers or organizations. To sign up for a sponsorship that is not publicly visible, sponsors would be provided a URL or a link through email, and a unique registration code.

Activating and Deactivating Sponsorships

When you no longer want to offer a particular sponsorship, you can deactivate it. Deactivating a sponsorship prevents new purchases of the sponsorship but does not affect any previous purchases. This allows members that have already purchased that sponsorship to remain unaffected by the change. You can deactivate a sponsorship and then reactive it again anytime you want. This option allows you to easily provide special sponsorships that are only offered during certain parts of the year.

Generating Sponsorship Reports

With Couto Solutions’ Community Donate for Telligent Community Server, you’ll also receive tools to gauge the success of your community’s sponsorship program. Community Donate provides you with the ability to generate a variety of reports as well as export the report data to a CSV file.

Active Sponsorships Report

The Active Sponsorship Report shows you the number of active sponsors for a given date range. In addition, the report generates contact information for active members, like first and last name, username, and email address to help you identify who your active sponsors are. You can then export this report date to a CSV file for external use.

Expired Sponsorship Report

The Expired Sponsorship Report shows you the number of sponsorships that expired during a given date range. In addition, the report generates contact information for expired members, like first and last name, username, and email address to help you indentify who your expired sponsors are. You can then export this report data to a CSV file for external use.

New Sponsorships Report

The New Sponsorship Report shows you the number of sponsorships that were purchased by new sponsors during a given date range. This report generates contact information for new sponsors, like first, last name, username, and email address to help you indentify who your new sponsors are. You can then export this report data to a CSV file for external use.

Sponsorship Purchase Report

The Sponsorship Purchase Report shows you how many sponsorships were purchased each month which includes both new sponsorship purchases and sponsorship renewals. It also breaks down purchases by sponsorship types which helps administrators determine what the best sponsorship types are.

Sponsorship Overview Report

The Sponsorship Overview Report is a comprehensive numerical analysis of your community’s sponsorship activity. This report provides a breakdown of the community with details about sponsorship renewals, overall change in sponsorship, registered users that are not sponsors and more.
